Mother’s Day • May 8th

Not that anyone needs to be reminded, right? But here at Ren, we don’t take such special days lightly. So this a heads-up for all of the husbands, dads, sons & daughters reading this to mark this Sunday on your calendars & start planning how to let the motherly figures in your life know that they’re a big deal & that you’re so thankful God has given you the privilege to do life with them. It’s gonna’ be a great Sunday!
Discover Ren • May 15th

New to Ren? Know someone who recently began attending? Check out Discover Ren at 9:00am in the Sullivan Room at the Y. It’s the best way to get to know us & hear about what God is doing here at Ren.

Village Field Day • May 15th

We’re assembling our Village Field Day action squad! We need adults & teenagers to help with check-in, care for babies, teach preschoolers what field day’s all about & help lead games & cheer in the main field with the K-5th group. We would LOVE to have you join the fun & help make this incredible day possible! Please email marianna@christpoint.com to get signed up for our action squad!

>> Infants will continue to enjoy love & attention from their awesome volunteers in their normal room. <<

>> The Explorers Class (preschoolers) will enjoy games & activities on the lawn just outside their classroom. <<

>> Children in K-5th grade will gather OUTSIDE on the lower field just across from the YMCA main doors. <<

Renegade Student Ministries

Renegade does NOT meet this Sunday, May 8th due to the Mother’s Day holiday. Students, enjoy letting your moms, grandmas, aunts & other motherly figures God has placed in your life know just how great they are & how much you love & appreciate them.

Also, be ready to help the Impact team share a small token of our appreciation with all the ladies in the room during the worship service when James prompts you to do so. Y’all are awesome for helping out. See ya’ next week at the Senior Cookout (details above)!

RenMen meets on Monday, May 9th at 6:30pm at Punchy’s Diner for the next session of this great series based on the book by Pastor Tim Keller. Give a friend a shout to join you this week.

Senior Recognition • May 15th

It’s time to recognize our graduating seniors & let them know how much they’re loved & that there’s no one cheering for them louder than their friends & family here at Ren. Join us in expressing our appreciation for them during our worship service on Sunday, May 15th.

Goins Away Party • May 22nd

Come help us honor Brian & Jen Goins as they prepare to move to Little Rock, Arkansas with their kids Brantley, Palmer & Gibson. Brian was our founding pastor, so we want to honor him & his family for their faithful ministry at Ren over the past 9 years.

We’ll have a picnic lunch at Dorton Park following the worship service. Please bring a side dish & take some time to wish the Goins well.
