STUDENTS

Partnering With Parents to Make Disciples

Christ Point Students

Christ Point Students (6th-12th grade) exists to partner with families to point students to Jesus. We believe parents have been called by called to be the primary spiritual influences in the life of the child, but we have a great honor and high privilege of coming alongside moms and dads as we point our students to Jesus. We provide opportunities for students to be known, ask questions, and grow in becoming followers of Jesus. Small groups and events give a place for students to have fun, make friends, and explore their faith. We currently meet on Sunday nights at 6-8 pm at Oehler Barn where dinner is served! Students, we invite you to come to join us!  We can’t wait to meet you. For more information, please email info@christpoint.com

OUR CORE VALUES:

Our ministry focuses on the four core objectives of our church body:

Encountering the transforming power of the Word of God  We will share the good news of what God has done in Jesus. We want students to know and understand God’s Word because we believe is it one of the primary ways God has revealed himself to us. From an old, ancient dusty document, God’s Word is living and active. He still uses it to change lives—teenagers included!

Experiencing Authentic Community  We will move toward community during Sunday morning worship, small groups, & serving on teams. We commit to pray for one another, care for one another, and pursue transparency with one another. We believe community is cultivated. It doesn’t just happen. So, students are given an opportunity to get to know each other and spend time together.

Establishing a Culture of Joyful Service  We believe God has equipped each and every person in His church with a gift or ability to use for God and for the sake of others. There are no exceptions. So, we will join in God’s good work by moving toward opportunities to serve joyfully within our church, in our Charlotte community, and around the world.

Engaging All People  We will take initiative to intentionally engage those God has placed in our path. We do that for both those within our church family, but also those outside our church walls. We long to be students who are on the move—spreading the good news of Jesus to those across the street and around the world.
