Meeting Sundays   –   10:30   –   Oehler’s Barn 4503 Ridge Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269   – 704.838.5350

Good Friday Service is on Friday, April 14th @ 7:00 p.m. at the YMCA (Williams Room) with childcare provided. This service will conclude around 8:00 pm.

Easter Morning Celebration is Sunday, April 16th with two worship services @ 9:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. Kids ages K-5th grade will lead a special worship song at the beginning of each service. Then K-2nd graders will be dismissed to their classes while 3rd-5th graders remain in the service with their parents.

Renegade will NOT meet this Sunday due to Easter Sunday. We’ll be back at our normal time @ 9 am next Sunday, April 23rd. See ya’ then, students.

Watch for signup info for the Spring Getaway to Carowinds coming up on Sunday, May 7th. It’s gonna’ be a blast!

If your Elementary aged child will be leading worship this weekend, please plan to be at Ren at 9:00 a.m. and have the kids line up on the wall as  you enter the auditorium. All children in  Kindergarten through 5th grade will be in the service for worship and K-2 will dismiss to their class once worship is over. After the service,  please pick up your K-2 children from their classrooms and bring them back to the auditorium to lead the first song at the 11 am service. Once they are finished singing, you are free to head home to spend the day with your family! Please plan to stand towards the back of the auditorium during this second performance if you are leaving to allow space for others to sit. If you have any questions, please email Jodi@Christ Point.org

Thank you for lending us your children for this awesome performance. And it’s perfectly okay with us if the paparazzi are out in full force to capture pictures of our Ren kids making a big deal about God!

Opportunity #1: Lifeline Missions (Overseas)

The Huffman Family (Daryl, Paula, Nick & Miranda) will soon be going on a mission trip with Lifeline Missions to Grand Goave, Haiti. They are currently collection powdered baby formula as well as infant liquid vitamins.

If you or your family would like to donate either of these items for their trip, please contact Daryl (daryl.huffman@duncan-parnell.com) or Paula (darylandpaula@vnet.net) by next Thursday, April 13th. Please pray for the gospel to be advanced & for the safety of their team as they minister to that community. Thanks!

Opportunity #2: Kairos Inside Weekend (Prison Ministry)

Coming up April 20th-23rd, Wes Richardson joins a team of 40-50 volunteers going to the Evans Correctional Institute (Bennettsville, SC), a medium/maximum security prison where the team will host a 3.5 day weekend for 36 attendees designed to build a Christian Community within the prison. Many attendees are not followers of Christ, but this weekend will help them experience His love, grace & forgiveness. Many come for nothing more than the food…but they leave with a whole lot more!

Their team needs to assemble 2,000 to 4,000 dozen homemade cookies for the weekend. Wes personally needs to gather 100 dozen of these cookies which are delivered by hand to attendees plus all individuals in the prison (both inmates & guards). They’re a small token that represents God’s love & shows those incarcerated that people outside the prison’s walls still love, care for & pray for them.

Game to donate cookies? If so, please email Wes (dwesrichardson@hotmail.com) & he’ll arrange to pick them up once you’ve baked them. Thanks so much, friends!
