Our current series, Core: Gut Level Christianity, continues this Sunday. We’ve seen God speak and create.  We’ve watched the story take a tragic turn when man sins.  We’ve painted a picture of a God who chases when we run from him.  On Sunday we’ll meet a God who rescues. 

No teammate class this Sunday!  The teammate class scheduled for this Sunday has been canceled.  We will hold our next Discover Christ Point or teammate class in November.  We’ll send out the details as we get closer to that date. 

Fall Festival! The Fall Festival is scheduled for November 6th from 10-2 at the YMCA. This is a great family event and provides a great chance to serve the Y and our community.  If you’re already marking your calendar for November you’ll want to write this date down.

Be a man! The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Cor 16:13, “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”  Come Sunday night at 8:00pm as the Ren men talk about what that looks like.  This Sunday we’ll meet at Brian’s, tell ghost stories around the fire, and then talk about how we shouldn’t live by fear.  Need directions?  6424 Morningsong Ln, Charlotte, 28269.  If you can make it shoot Brian an email at brian@christpoint.com

Liam’s Lions  There is a great opportunity to participate in this year’s Buddy Walk for the Down Syndrome Association of Charlotte.  The walk is on Saturday, October 9th from 2pm-6pm at Freedom Park.  Come and offer your support.  If you wish you can donate at dsacnc.org by clicking on the link for “Buddy Walk” and then “John Ahlstrom” or “Liam’s Lions”  Thanks for your support!
