A Few Quick Updates:
PreSeason Kick-Off “Celebration at the Speedway.” Every year we hold an all church meeting where we look back at the milestones from the last year and look forward to the mountain peaks we’ll be climbing in the coming year. Clear Friday night, August 27, 7:30-9:30 pm on your calendars. Go ahead and book the babysitter. You won’t want to miss it. If possible, a $5 donation to help with the cost would be appreciated. Worship Pastor Update: As we mentioned in church on Sunday, we expected to have another worship leader candidate this past week. He came down with an illness but will return to us on the weekend of September 10-12. Keep praying for our search as we try and find the right person. We obviously desire to fill the spot as soon as possible. However, when you combine high standards with part time pay, you shrink your pool of capable and available candidates. Nevertheless, we’re confident God will bring us the right person at the right time. We appreciate your patience and your prayers.
