‘Tis the Season, Ren family!  We’re busy finalizing plans for our Christmas Eve service.  We’ll get you the details as soon as they are confirmed, so please stay tuned.
NOTE:  There will be no service on Christmas Day.  Celebrate the Christ child’s birth with friends and family!

The NEST Bible Studies

Our last week and wrap up of  the current NEST women’s Bible study, “Rooted in the Word: Philippians” is coming up next week.

Our Wednesday night study concludes November 9th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Odell Baptist Church.

Our Thursday morning study has concluded.  Stay tuned for details regarding our next study!

The NEST ministry is collecting new or gently used books for flood ravaged Lumberton, NC.  In addition to so many other critical needs, the areas schools libraries have been devastated.  We will be collecting books through Sunday, November 20th.  Please drop off your donations at The Village Check-In desk.

In an effort to most effectively minister to and communicate with our church family, we are updating information in our database.  Please take a moment over the next three Sundays to either confirm or update your contact information with Denise.  There are two ways to go about doing this:
  1. By far the easiest way to update your information is to CLICK HERE!  Fill out this online form for your entire family, hit submit and it’s done!
  2. There will also be a table set up at the back of the gym for the next few Sundays.  Stop by, update your information.  Just look for the balloons!

Are you interested in being baptized or learning more about baptism? Please plan to attend Ren’s next baptism classes on November 20th and 27th at 9:00 a.m. prior to the Sunday morning service.  Adults and children are invited. Baptisms will take place following the December 4th service.  If you have any questions, please email Pastor James.

Our study “The Book of James” with Francis Chan wraps up next week at the church office (Smith Tower, Suite 430 at Charlotte Motor Speedway).  The study is structured so that you can jump in anytime. So come check it out, men.
