Silly Summer Sunday • PAJAMA DAY

This Sunday, June 12th is Pajama Day for ALL Village children! It’s a fun way to celebrate the laid back days of summer, especially when your favorite blanket & stuffed animal are along for the ride, too. Village teachers & parents are encouraged to join in the fun. Seriously, be brave, live boldly & rock the jammies, parents!

Also, please pray with us that Pastor James has the courage he needs to preach in his Spiderman onesie.

RenMen’s “WEIRD” Series

Our RenMen study meets this Monday, June 13th at 6:30pm at Punchy’s Diner for session #5 of our WEIRD series. If you’re never gotten the chance to come & check it out, the summer is a great time to drop by for some good food, great times & solid teaching from Craig Groeschel. See you soon, guys!

VBS at West Green Apartments

Ren has an incredible opportunity this summer to host a VBS for families who live in the West Green apartment complex July 25th-27th from 8:30am-12:30pm. We need 12 volunteers each day to make this happen, so emailcharity@christpoint.com whether you can serve all 3 days or even 1-2 days. The deadline to join our team is this Sunday, June 12th, so contact Charity today!

The NEST’s Summer Book Club

Hello, ladies! We hope you can join us on Friday, June 24th at 7pm for The NEST Summer Book Club!

Dara is our gracious host for the evening. We’re readingGift From the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Be sure to buy or check out a copy from the library & read it over the couple weeks. While the book was published in 1955, it remains a source of simple wisdom for women in any life stage. You don’t have to prepare anything ahead of time, just show up & we’ll talk…and listen.

Renegade Student Ministries

Renegade meets at 9:00am in the Sullivan Room at the Y for donuts, coffee, a challenge game, breakout groups & a powerful lesson “God’s Chisel.” Parents & siblings are welcome to hang out on the couches & eat donuts while Renegade meets. We’ll wrap at 9:55am so that students can transition into the worship service.

Then, after the worship team finishes their song set, teenagers will head up to the Village to hang out with our rising 6th graders graduating into Renegade this fall. It’s a great chance to meet them & give them a preview of what being a Renegade is all about. Don’t miss it!
