Christ Point Groups

At Christ Point we believe one of the ways we point people to Jesus is by experiencing authentic community. Small groups are one way of experiencing biblical community. We study the Word, pray, and share life together. The Christian life is not a solo sport, so we encourage our people to walk together in groups. For information about joining a small group, email james@christpoint.com.

The Gathering | Sunday Mornings | 9am

On hold until physical gathering is resumed

From cover to cover, the Bible is the story of God’s plan to redeem sinners through Jesus—the gospel. Gospel Foundations tells that story. From the creators of The Gospel Project, this is a one year journey through the storyline of Scripture. We will engage in discussion and gain a clear understanding of how each text fits into the storyline of Scripture. Join Russ LeJeune (russ.lejeune@gmail.com) in this adult group Sunday mornings.

Christ Point Men | Wednesdays | 6-7:30am

At Christ Point we are passionate about discipling men to become more like Jesus and be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church and in their work.  We accomplish this mission through Bible study, mentoring and accountability, service and outreach events, retreats, mission trips and social gatherings. We take seriously Paul’s instruction in 1 Corinthians 16 for men to “stand firm in the faith, be watchful and strong, act like men and do everything in love.”

If you’re looking for a way to connect and be encouraged, the men meet every Wednesday at 6am for a zoom call. They talk about life and the parables of Jesus.

Christ Point Women

Christ Point Women’s Ministry exists to point women to Jesus through discipleship and community. We do that through encountering the transforming power of the word of God through both day and evening Bible studies. We plan annual retreats and thoughtful gatherings in order to experience authentic community. Our Women’s ministry seeks to give back through using our gifts both within the church and in our community. We strive to be a place where all women can find a sense of belonging and feel valued and known.

Book of James | Thursdays | 9:30-11:00am

Please join us as for a 5 week Bible via Zoom on the practical and encouraging book of James. While we are studying the book of James, we will also learn better study habits through a series of short videos by Jen Wilkin based from her book, Women of the Word. This group will meet through April and May.

Discipleship Group | Wednesdays

The focus of this Discipleship Group serves to provide guidance to practical foundation building in spiritual formation. We will explore what it means to “know the God Jesus knew” and challenge how we engage with even the mundane aspects of life. We will use James Bryan Smith’s book “The Good and Beautiful God” as a tool throughout the course. We will challenge the cultural narrative of what living as a human looks like and how it ultimately impacts how we engage with God. The purpose of this Discipleship group will be to equip participants to “multiply” and to begin to disciple others. This is neither a requirement nor obligation but a function of the group.
